Hello. I was planning to lay a base for a shed. I dug up the grass and removed about 3 inches of soil only to find these beasts. These rocks seem to be buried deep and tbh I don’t fancy even attempting to try to lift them (not that I could). Obviously the base needs to be even and that isn’t going to happen with these. Any tips for how to remove or get them broken up to a point where I can have it level with the rest of the surface? Any tips would be great. Thanks in advance.

They aren't rocks. It looks like concrete.

First off, find out what they do. They could just be waste material dumped in a hole. But they could be holding up the fence (badly)

A Kango type breaker should break the material up into manageable pieces
