Roof type: pitched, tiled roof over a kitchen extension.
Issue: there are two square gaps in the insulation between the skylights, each roughly 400–450 mm on a side. The gaps are clear openings in the insulation (not just compressed or thin spots).
My question - Is there any valid reason a builder would leave deliberate gaps like this, or is it likely an installation error?
