Hi,
Currently need access to & from garage through kitchen, specially as we will be renovating kitchen area.
Problem is I need a door space of approx 38 inches wide.
Reason is we would like to install an american fridge as you know the buggers are massive. So have worked out I would need that much space.
Where can I get a door to cover that gap ( with doorframe )
But I dont want UPVC, need wood.
Thanks

Yes, that is why I wanted wooden door. With a step down to the garage.
Sorry, should have said that before.
Any ideas FMST?

OK, for your info, if you want a panel door or similar you are stuck with the standard size doors that are manufactured, they no longer comply once they are cut down. You can get imperial or metric sized doors. Metric doors do not come any wider than 926mm wide (36.5"). Therefore you are stuck with imperial sized doors at either 42" or 48" wide http://www.door-warehouse.co.uk/size_convert.htm

Alternatively if you just want a plain veneered door or a plain door designed for painting you can get a 'fire door blank' which can be cut down to suit. eg http://www.kaybeedoors.co.uk/doors/...um=google&utm_campaign=%c2%a0%c2%a0fire-doors
