lateral brace replacement on truss

I am selling my home and it looks like I may have some mold on the surface of a couple lateral braces on 3 of my trusses. I would prefer to completely remove the lateral brace and replace them. I will only do 1 at a time and there are only 3 to do. Just want to make sure this can be done. Trusses are spaced 2 feet apart and like I said, only doing one at a time.

the trusses will already be stiffened by the roofing material and the ceiling.
