Lateral movement in Bathtub

Due to my stupid ass h@#e fitter not fitting my Bathtub properly, my Bathtub has lateral movement. It seems like the legs are not strong enough and allow movement. Now I don't really want the bath taken out to rectify the problem, but is there a way to make this bath solidly fixed to ground so that there is absolutely no movement?

Bath type? steel , cast iron, plastic ? How is it currently fitted.

Would it be possible to use some wood battens to help secure the bath?
