latex slc depth over underfloor heating

Just planning the electric underfloor heating install for the kitchen. Looks like it is going straight onto concrete slab, with suitable primer adhesive, then 10-12 mm of latex slc over it to get to the level of the other rooms. Is this sensible to have such a depth? Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I was advised by my tiler that I did not need insulation boards. Since the base is slab, I do wonder whether 6mm of insulation board would help.
 
You might find that the slab sucks all the heat out of the UFH without insulation but 6mm probably isn't worth it.
