Hi
I have just bought a 1930's semi and about to start renovations. I like minimal design so will be removing all wallpaper and skimming the walls. At the moment all electrics all surface mounted and as I want to rewire and add sockets part of the job will be replacing and recessing current sockets plus adding new sockets for lamp circuits etc...
How do you go about flush fitting sockets into lath and plaster?
I know the typical construction of lath and plaster but is it fixed onto (typically) brick behind?
Cheers
