can anyone advise on a sticky control panel which does not always deliver the program requested? Bought in 2000 so had great use of it but still works well - could it be wear and tear which is replaceable, like a new pcb or something?

Have you been able to gain access to the rear fascia control panel, photo would help!
Due to age and make its possible the dial is a mechanical timer.
Perhaps elaborate more too, works well? Does not always deliver selected programme.
Do you mean sometimes works perfectly, then other times doed nothing at all or the wrong programme?
