Have bought some smart edge lawn edging. The one with the 'A' frame on that is pinned on the the existing lawn.
Where i want to put the edging it is just soil where i have had shrubs dug up. It is quite uneven so if i install the edge now there will be nothing for it to pin to as the soil will be blow existing grass level.
What is best to level off. I was thinking of adding soil to a string line and bring the level up and then tamper down by walking on it as when i come to install the edge i will need a nice straight cut into the soil.
Once installed i want to top soil it then with some grass seed.
