lay floor or fit new patio - which first?

I have a tiled floor which is dated and am having a new one laid over it, the patio door people have been and measured (I have a tile sample) and are saying they can leave a template for the tiler... What is best? Would it be better to wait until the patio door is made and have both done the same week? (The same tiles will also be laid on the patio balcony, so am concerned the frame may be wider or something)! HELP!
