Advice needed - We have installed large sliding doors and recently laid a SLC for large 1m tiles. We have a slope drop of 12mm over the 6m distance from left to right and there is approx 10mm to the edge of the sliding doors frame (12mm to top of the frame on the left that drops to 22mm on the right side of the room), we are wanting to install UHF on the left where we have a kitchen island with the largest drop, but this will leave a insulation mat lip of 6mm after 3m as we only want to cover 3m in UFH. Question, should be just lay the UHF and then tile the whole area even with the 6mm lip or feather the lip into to the slop or cover the UHF 3m section with SLC and feather into the slope before tiling? Any advice would be appreciated.

You could lay the UFH across the 3m section you want covered and leave the remaining area as is.

However, this would mean the tile installation would include a noticeable 6mm lip along the edge of the UFH.
