Hi guys new to the site looks great with loads of info

my question is i have floorboards in the kitchen and wish to lay floor tiles
what should i put on the floor first ie ply or some other covering
many thanks

At least 9mm WBP (exterior grade) ply, screwed every 6-8" (all over).
Then use flexible adhesive and grout (powdered, not pre-mixed).
