We have a laminate floor in our bedroom that we don't like. In particular the beading as the skirting was not lifted to lay it.
We would like to replace it with Quick Step Livyn Vinyl planks or similar as it seems like it could go straight on top of the existing laminate which is totally flat and in good condition.
Is this type of flooring stable in as much as it can be laid right up to the skirting without any gap or beading. It looks like there are 2 types of vinyl plank - glue down or floating/click.
Many thanks
