Lead Flashing

I am having a conservatory done and have been advised that Flashband will be cheaper, easier and sufficient as opposed to lead flashing on the wall. Does any one feel this may cause problems, I appreciate it will not be as good as lead flashing but is it good enough?

I don't like them because they are not reliable and can looks cheap, I've been to many site where the flashing is coming away from the wall. If you're spending money on a conservatory, best not to cut corners specially if you have a leaking problem later on.
Is the wall brickwork, rendering or pebbledash etc ?
