Hi

I am a bit worried about the roof joint that has been made between my new lean to conservatory and house. The conservatory is large(9m wide x 4m deep), so if there is a problem, the glass roof would need to be removed.

Builder removed render off the render/block wall and fixed lead in a narrow cut using sealant(no clips) to hold in place. There was no margin between lead and weathershielded render(half inch deep) further up wall.

Lead was fixed in place with stainless steel screws and brass cups and then a galvanised bell cast bead fixed on top, again with stainless screws and brass cups. Bellcast was then formed on top, covering all fixings and all painted with dulux weathershield.

Can someone please tell me that this will be fine.

Thanks

Rob

If the lead will lap onto the glass about (150mm) and is fitted in lengths no longer than 1.5m across with 100mm laps (at least then it should be fine.

Kind Regards, Mark.

P.S, use your flash next time ;)
