hi there
I have a problem with water ingress via a sash and case window.

Water is leaking in my bedroom (along the telephone line) through the gap between the stone apron and the timber window sill. It looks like the previous sealant has long since cracked and fallen out. The dilemma I have is what type of sealant should I use to stop this? Is there a sealant that will bind to stone to fill the gap? I have attached pictures.

any advice would be greatly appreciated

Rake out the old mortar, sealant or whatever it is, and get some silicone sealant in there......keep the nozzle long, and fill up from as far back as you can.
Don't come right to the front of the sill though, any water that runs off it falls clear at the drip groove that's machined on the underside of the sill.
