LEAK CAST IRON BOILER /TAKE ELEMENTS DOWN AND RESEAL ?

well done Doitall !
When you have the boiler, facing you,the leak is between the 1st and the second element from the left -bottom part
Pierre

No good being right if you can't find anyone to do the job for a reasonable price.

If the boiler is in condition otherwise, and I mean good, with no rust on the bottom, burner ok etc, then it will outlast any modern can.

It may be an idea to give potty/baxi a call to see what they say, they have guys building the sectional boilers for them, allbeit larger models.

Any Corgi worth his salts could do the job, its not difficult.

But at the end of the day it's down to cost, and whether you're prepared to take the chance on the condition of the section

he wouldn't want to pay a grand plus for something that may not work and no guarantees.
Frightening indeed ,but also puzzling :it looks like a 4 to 5 hour job ,max ,with only o rings to replace
How much do you guys charge per hour then ?
Peter
