Leaked ceiling bow fixed but damaged.

For the benefit of the original poster, we general advise everyone to disregard anything posted by poster #15. If you attempt to force that PB, back into place dry, then you may find it simply cracks. Moisture from the leak, allowed it to droop down without cracking - moisture will allow it enough flexibility to be pushed back up.

How would you wet an oil painted ceiling?
How would you soak the skim finish without causing it to disintegrate & make matters worse?
You have a funny way of disregarding me when you constantly copy the advice in my posts; as in this thread?
