Hi Ken, have certainly seen a lot worse, just screw the cap down, the AAV has been changed at some time , you dont need to change the whole thing with that you can just change the business part, but sometimes cheaper buying the complete valve and changing the top end, or change the whole alve if you want, will be fine with the cap screwed down

I`ve always called them an Automatic Bleed Valve rather than an AAV, different strokes for different folk.

Its a Vokera excell 80SP , Vokera call it an automatc air vent/bottle

It never ceases to amaze me that we can send space craft to Mars & control drone helicopters there but can’t seem to manufacture an AAV that doesn’t let by after a while.......
