My neighbour has recently had a boiler installed and tells me that there are leaks on the system due to it being pressurised and old system was open vented. The pressure drops all the time.

Should she recall the installer/company and are they liable as they installed it and changed system to sealed ? or is she responsible and will have to deal with it ?

Thanks all for your time

This kind of problem is typical for cowboy jobs. She has either been ripped off, of it is a matter of: by cheap, get cheap.

In either case there is little chance of the installer solving the problem foc.

Is the boiler by any chance:

thanks for your help

I did tell her to call, them and will speak to her later - I thought it was THEIR problem as they installed it - but if they won't fix it, what could she do to fix it?

before you worry about that situation ,why dont you get your neighbour to call BGas and see what their reaction is to the problem
please keep us posted of the outcome
