Hi

Got a Hotpoint Aquaries Condenser Dryer.

Recently moved home - and in new home - started having problems.

Kept tripping circut every time i turned the thing on.

Took it outside and tipped it - a lot of water came out the bottom.

Dried it all up with hair dryer - cleaned filter / condenser unit etc. put it back on worked.

Now I can see water leaking from the bottom - any ideas ? Sounds like a blockage to me... but no idea where

Remove the condenser and put your arm though the big hole. At the back reach into the right hand corner and you will fill a slight dip that part is full of fluff. Then remove the pump and in the chamber top left is a very small hole , you are looking down into it. Poke a long cable tie in it till it disappears it will come out where you hand was in the condenser chamber. That has now cleared the blockage.
