Hi,
Whenever we use the shower above the bath, the water leaks into the kitchen below. I have identifed the leak and it is in the corner of the bath. I removed all the silicon around the bath and resealed. The bath was filled with water and left for 24hrs. I then applied a self adhesive strip and corner sections. This work for a while but the leak has come back.
The bathroom is pretty small and you can just about fit a bath in. I read through the previous discussions and someone suggested sealing from underneath. Any tips on how to do this when the space is very limited. Or any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Perhaps you bought the cheapest silicone on the shelf? I used Everbuilds 'Forever White' years ago for the same job, which guarantees to stop black mould growth for 10 years and has certainly done that up until now and is pretty powerful silicone too. I think it was about £10 a tube

Perhaps your bath moves slightly everytime someone fills it / gets in it, which weakens the join between the bath and silicone?
Ours used to do this and leak until we re-adjusted the feet and fitted an extra wall bracket, now it doesn't move at all and so far, no recurrance of the issue :)

Thanks Graeme and FourFootMedia (great username) for info and advice. Thought I had used good silicone but didn't pay £10. But I have some Everbuild in the garage and so will try this. I am not sure how the bath is secured, but will check this. Not sure I can get another bracket in place without remove the tiles and bath, but may be able to achieve something similar using 3x2 timber as an extra support. If not, a semi bit job is required. Thanks again for time taken to respond.
