I`ve GOT A LEAKING HOT WATER TAP IN THE BATHROOM,HOW DO I ISOLATE THE SUPPLY TO IT ?,IT IS FED FROM A COMBI BOILER

Turn your cold main off and open all the hot taps to drain the pipework.

You should have a isolation valve under the combi on the cold water inlet pipe/connection.

Yes just isolate the cold supply going to the combi, open a hot tap at the lowest point, bobs your uncle.

THANK YOU,DO I JUST REOPEN THE COLD WATER INLET WHEN I`ve FINISHED AND WILL IT CAUSE ANY AIR PROBLEMS ?

No the air will just splutter out of the taps for a minute or so. On a personal note I never turn any isolation valve off on a boiler as there is a very good chance it will leak. Stopcock all the way for me.

I always turn the combi off first and let the water flow through until spluttering stops.
