Leaking joints / fittings on shower

Sorry it's been a while guys.

Spoke to triton, but they just wanted to sell me parts I don't need.

The issue with the fittings in the body of the valve is that the threads aren't tapered and since I have to back out the fittings slightly I have no alternative (i think) than to apply thread sealant.

As far as the shower arm was concerned, over tightening the gub screw, although i'm not happy with the design of that either. I'm planning on changing the whole arrangement next year anyway.

Once again, thanks for everyone's assistance.
