leaking pipe

hi guys.. ive noticed that under my sink where my hot water copper pipe is joined to a white plastic one the white plstic push joint is has a small drip.is there any can i use some kind of seal in a tube to fix it.im affraid to try refitting the push connector incase of making it worse
