Just being called out to a leaking pipe in a kitchen ceiling which has brought the ceiling down, it is only a pin hole in a copper pipe. The customer hasn't even turned his water mains off! He is also in his mid 30's, so not like it he was a pensioner. Anyway I looked at the job and gave the customer a price.
His reply was: 'when can you do it'
I said: 'I can do it now'
Customer: 'No I can't have it done now, I am waiting for 3 OTHER PLUMBERS to come round and price the job for me'
I said 'Ok feel free to call me later' and I walked.
OMG What the fek does he want, he has water leaking through his ceiling and is waiting for the best price.
