I've noticed recently that my Central Heating pressure has been dropping a bit and whilst cleaning a spare room noticed that one of the radiators was leaking (the carpet around the main pipe going into it was wet.

As it's not the usual side of the radiator I would have thought to have leaked ie where you leak it - where would this possibly be coming from?

could be from rad valve (spindle or joint) plug at top of rad (if there is one) or radiator itself.
try drying rad, pipes etc then going round all suspect areas with a dry tissue, this will show you the tiniest leak, start at top and work downwards

Sounds as though its leaking at the lsv, probably just needs tightening.
