I have a slow leaking radiator, how do I stop water entering the rad...?Temporary
which end, both ends, is there a tool or do I use a spanner.
:(

Close both valves and yes use a spanner carefully .. if you have a TRV then youll need the service cap !!!

thanks GASMAN but what is a TRV? also service cap?, AS YOU SEE I KNOW NOTHING

Thermostatic Radiator Valve ,,

if you have a TRV then you remove the head and screw down the service cap to close it as you cant trust the head not to let by if it gets cold enough !!

SORRY I DIDN'T GET BACK SOONER....went out. :D

I hope things will be ok till I have time to fix it, warmer now, or have it fixed. Thanks for your help Gasman......... :D
