Leaking Radiator

Right. Tested heating, and radiator working fine.
Main issue though now is that water is seeping from the valve!
Have I turned it anticlockwise too far?
Or could it be air in the radiator as I've bled it since and there was quite a bit of air in it?
 
Oh right, I thought spindle (the taller bit) had snapped off? If you can get a grip on it then open it fully (anticlockwise). Tighten the nut back up (clockwise), should be ok then
 
Sorry. You are right. It was the spindle that snapped. I have opened it up and radiator was heating all over. Ok. It was actually leaking water from here without the bolt on. I guess that putting it back on will prevent any leaking (by leaking I mean just a very slow dribble from the bottom of the spindle without the bolt on)?
 
Yes, the nut is what seals the spindle into the valve, just put it back on and nip it up and the leaking should stop
