Help! While retiling my bathroom recently, I nudged the pan and subsequently managed to disturb the seal between the pan and the lead(?) soil pipe which then started weeping a drop every flush. The sealing material (caulking?) is not too clever, ie very crumbly and damp especially at the bottom of the seal. The pan seals into a deep collar on the soil pipe and after numerous attempts to seal it with propriatry leak stoppers, mastics, and glues the drips still keep seeping under the repair! I don't want to split the pan from the pipe as that will cause new problems with the cistern/pan pipe seals. Does anyone know of anything that will seal this damp joint before the moisture ruins it?
