Leaking stainless steel bottle-trap.

I have got a leaking bottle-trap. It is stainless-steel and the leak is coming from the waste section that enters the trap. Any ideas as to how I can put a stop to this, please? Thank for any advice.

if its where i think, it possibly seals like a compression waste fitting, try wrapping thread tape around the sealing ring. if its an o ring that seals it you could try the same thing. failing that silicone saves the day alot!
