Leaking underfloor rad pipes

Hi, My house built in 1974 has the ground floor piping to the radiators set in the concrete floors (stupid idea or what !!!)
I think I'm getting some minor leakage because I have to bleed the rad nearest to the boiler weekly
Question folks: Can you get something to put into the system to seal the pipes just like you do in a leaking radiator on a car
This is a non combi system

Any ideas welcome

a leak does not normally lead to air in a rad.
is it open vented central heating system or sealed (combi boiler?)

Check your pump setting; if on the highest setting, try turning it down one notch or even to the lowest seting.

If you keep getting air in the system usually a design issue or could be iron oxide (sludge) build up when you get iron oxide, it can cause hydrogen build up, when you bleed rad see if you can light the gas coming out if it ignites its hydrogen, i take it its an open system you have, the answer to you question can you put something in to stop leaKS, YES, leak sealer prob wont sort your air problem though, although if it has a leak, it means it will constantly be putting oxygenated water into your system which will cause corrosion, blockages etc,

Interesting thoughts guys, it is an open system. I'll take a look at each idea you've offered and see if any can be eliminated thanks
