Should have said Hi - enthusiastic DIYer new to Forum.
Looking for advice before I start out on the roof myself.
Had extension done by "professional", came highly recommended by Architect, can't find him now either.....
Getting him back is not an option, nor would I want him back onsite.
He fitted 4 vulex windows and three are the point of entry for water.
It seems to be accumulating rather than pouring in during rain.
I think it is pooling somewhere, travelling down the joists till it hits something and then leaks in through the plaster.
This is either around or directly below a velux.
Flashing kit badly fitted? Wrong flashing kit?
His general roofing skills were awful and I have now discovered he started to run out of tiles so the overlap gets less per tile row as the roof height increases. I might have to have the whole roof re-tiled....
Could he have cut the tiles to far back around the flashing kit?
Any advice would be welcome....
