I have just had a new mixer tap in kitchen. When I turn the tap off, hot or cold water it trickles slightly and then one or max two drips. The plumber says this is normal but previous tap didnt do it and neither do any of my other mixer taps. Plumber described tap as medium quality but it doesn’t have a make on it so cannot check if a fault or not with manufacturer. There is a 10 year warranty but only via the plumber who says tap is fine, this is quite normal.
should I ask him to change the ceramic discs, are they likely to be faulty? Or is this more likely to be a design fault? I can live with it but am disappointed and concerned the problem may get worse. Thank you.

Many mixers do this,it is to do with the design of the swooping spout.
