Hello all,
I’m currently on building a lean to roof at the rear of my property, bordering a neighbours fence. The lean to is 2.9m from ground level and extends approx 2.7m out from the house and 3.6m long, however our neighbours garden is approx 2 foot higher than ours so the lean to is roughly 2.4 on their side. I’ve attached a photo below for information (excuse the feet). Can anyone possibly advise as to whether this would require any type of planning permission. Many thanks in advance

I would say it's Permitted development.

Max height is 3.0m max project is 3.0m max under pd for an extension.

Your roof might fall foul of 45 deg rule under full planning, but not relavent under pd

Thanks for the information, that was my understanding of it just wanted to double check as a lot of the stuff you read online differs from page to page. Thanks again
