I have 2 bedrooms in the back of my house and they both slope towards one of the outside corners of the house. We only bought the house in November last year and it had been newly decorated. There now seem to be cracks appearing. It is a 1960's build. On the survey there was no subsidence.

Any ideas as the roofs of the rooms below seem OK?

Thanks
Julie

what did the full structural survey say ??

if you only had a home buyers survey they will only let the building society know it worth what they are lending you and no more

60`s build could be rough as a bears arse  that slope could have always been there  the cracking could just be decorators caulk shrinking a bit  that`s the best case scenario
