I just wondered if anyone can give me advice or suggest a suitable replacement for a broken led driver. This was the driver in my light fitting that broke:

I tried to find a replacement and found this on Amazon:

The light switches on but I believe it is a knockoff because the eWelink app is unable to control the light (done on 2.4G network)

I have left it in for now as the light switches on now but ideally I would like to put in a wifi or zigbee controller to intergrate into home assistant.
Any suggestions on where to find a suitable driver?

Thanks

The voltages are not the same, it will depend on how many LED's in series it is controlling. I have a struggle every time I try using a new device, then it will start to work, and I have no idea of what I did to make it work, but note tablet seems to work better, so assume something to go with 2.4G and 5G as laptop has not got 5G.

Thanks for the reply, I have edited the original post to make myself a bit clearer. The driver works in the sense that it turns the light on by the switch but the light doesn't work in the app. I have disabled the 5GHz to make sure it ran on 2.4GHz but no joy. When I messaged the amazon seller I received a full refund but I don't see the point in trying the same drivers off amazon if they aren't really ewelink compatible.

I have the same problem, smart life, energenie, tapo, kasa, TCPSmart, etc, however once set up, they will all connect to google home, so it is not really a problem as long as they will work with google home the command words still work like hey google turn on Christmas turns on my Christmas lights. My son uses Alexa in the same way.

I would have preferred if all ran with smart life, but only energenie works direct with PC, all others need an emulator to work. But I have had 5 energenie devices fail, OK over 5 years old, as brought them from my old house, and I was told they worked with Nest central heating thermostats, and they don't really work as they should.

I am sure I could integrate the different devices better, but even when I can use voice control for bedroom lights, I still use a remote control or PC, even been known to use the wall switch.
