Hi all,
I need some advice on replacing parts/repairing an LED heated mirror which is 9 years old. It also has an infrared sensor to flick on/off the lights.
A few months back I plugged into the shaver socket with a electric trimmer. It cut off the lights immediately and there's no power to the shaver socket, also the heating element not working as for this to work the lights also need to be on.
Changing bulbs obviously has no effect and the fuse has been changed. There is a slight hum from the components when the rocker switch is on, so assume there is power coming in, it's just likely one of the components has blown?
There is an electronic ballast, a transformer, and a sensor switch. I'm guessing it could be the transformer which needs replacing?
Would it be the transformer that is blown, or might I need to check the other components or replace any other components, or buy a new one!?
Thanks
