Led light strip & touch sensor.

Mrs Chirpychippy requested I installed some oak shelving with one shelf having an LED strip light for ambience.

The LED strip and casing are rebated into the second shelf, I have fitted a touch sensor and the cables have been hidden in the stud work terminating into the drivers in the loft "it's a bungalow" .

In the loft there is a supply put in when the Bungalow was rewired. I was hoping to connect onto it but I can't get my head around the connections. Power to switch driver to led driver.

At this point, if you were to say "get an electrician" then i will accept this if it is that difficult.

I have a landing light which can have 1, 4, or 5 bulbs lit, to do this when as standard only one switch I used a relay and use voice commands to select which lights, it also works with the wall switch but hardly ever used now.

I also have a display cabinet, not home made, so lights not recessed, standard Ikea billy bookcases, I have three strip lights as seem, all smart type, so again voice command to turn them on.

To me the big advantage is when turning off, just say hey google turn off living room lights and all go off together.

But each set of lights is different, if you were to ask how to wire some TCP smart colour changing strip lights then I can answer, as have fitted them, but how to wire an unknown set of lights, not a clue, there are so many different types, centre light is a Lidi Livarno strip light. My kitchen also has the Lidi Livarno strip light there need plugging in they come with a plug in power supply so had to hide it where it can't be seen,

Thanks, I worked it out, it was rather straight forward. Connected the supply to sensor switch transformer then connected led transformer to the sensor transformer, plugged it all in, hey presto.
