Led lighting in the bathroom and defusers

Switches are allowed outside the zones - >600mm. from vertical line from edge of bath or open part of shower enclosure.

Metal doesn't make any difference.

Can’t help with the lighting! My only comment is that bathroom features a double 13A socket on the wall. This is not allowed!

I have a double socket in the bathroom, no regulations have been contravened ;)

It means that, because of the transformer, it is a totally separated supply not connected to the earth of the house mains supply.

I just happen to have a shaver socket on the bench

And the consequences of that are / that is good why?
It means that it is possible to provide mains voltage in a bathroom to power shavers and charge toothbrushes in a very safe manner.
This is very important in areas like bathrooms where wet bodies and electricity come together. With an isolating transformer a fault on the plugged in device would not put you at risk. You could even put your finger into the live terminal and not get an electric shock.

Pedantic, but you can get an "electric shock", but the current is usually minimal and will not cause a hazard. The inter-winding capacitance creates a current path.
