either looking for a plug in chain or a normal light fitting

hoping to pay less than £20 for 60w equivilent

anybody got any ideas
have been doing the normal web serches and not getting very far lol
any body got any recomendations

i know normal low energy bulbs are are between 20 and 25% off the consumption of a normal bulb
what is the consumption off a equivilent led thanks in advance

I have led lamps on my stairs, I use three 4watt bulbs on a single driver, they produce light output of 25watts, similar to the three 20watt LV bulbs that used to be in the same down lighter fittings. The bulbs cost around £9 each but prices are falling all the time, biggest cost is the driver which was £16 and will runs several lamps, some of the new lamps claim to run on existing 12volt transformers but I found they cause flickering.
I installed some mains self contained led's in our offices, but they have feeble output equivalent to around 7watts.
Brightest bulb [standard ES] is 40watt equivalent.

I think you may struggle to find a 60 watt [equivalent] bulb at the moment but things are improving in the led world all the time.
