Hi need some advice about a bathroom mirror i bought. It's one of those with led lights, activated by a pir. Although it worked fine at first, after a couple of days, the lights would come on constantly even when nothing triggered them. Also, the shaver socket does not charge up properly even though the charge light on the shaver comes on.
I wondered if this could be as a result of bad wiring (poor earth?) or it's a fault in the mirror itself.
Any advice welcome.
Regards

Sounds like the PIR's out to lunch. But if you've only had a few days and it's not performing as required, take it back to the shop and get a replacement, don't worry about trying to diagnose and repair.

Do you mean that the shaver socket only works when the lights are on?
That will mean the socket will be impractical for charging purposes - you need the shaver socket powered all the time.
