Led strip light question

Hi ,,I'm considering making ceiling light box for my dining room approx. 1200x2400 with maybe 4 LV down lighters connected to the lighting circuit,, now can I wire a led strip light to the same circuit but on a different SW? as I would prefer them to be separate.

You might get a bit of volt drop with 12v LED strips and will need more than one driver. If you're getting strips with changing light patterns you'll need a repeater too.

LV being 240 volt I assume? The LED strip being ELV 12 volt I assume?
