You cannot speak in terms of the 'normal' he was not normal.
He was an alchoholic, as with other drug addicts they tend not to follow common sense, thought through actions.
Remember he became addicted using perfectly legal fluids, thankfully most do not, but you do not have to be an addict to become a drain on the NHS ....
Just remember the football.. Is all he asked of us.
