The management have some how wrenched the door handle off. The only markings on the freezer are "comfort no frost". There are zilch any where else ( thats not quite true i haven't looked on the bottom). I have scoured the web looking for somewhere that has a diagram and a parts schedule so that i can check i'm getting the right part, like the LG site that i got the washing machine drum bearings off, but can't get anywhere. :( Does anyone know of a site that might help? Apparently leibherr also make cranes but i don't need one of those.
As an aside if anyone reading this needs any consumer goods testing this is the house to do it, anything that makes its first anniversary is doing well,
regards

look round the back near compresser for model number, a quick search on google liebherr refigerator parts found loads of companys 4 one down a door handle 20 quid :)

Thanks for the reply rocks1 but nothing there, no labels, nothing i can see stamped. I think i already have the site you mention but they give a part number which i don't have to be sure. This isn't a normal pull it handle this one pivots thro 90 degrees which in turn moves 2 arms which push on the body of the freezer breaking the door seal. Well it did till recently.German engineering. I can't believe all thats only £20. Apparently they also make a self-erecting crane.
best regards

i dont know the freezer by sight if you have no model number your stuffed .have you got a pic of it or a manual, how old is it , you could try and take it to a shop that sells spare parts they might find a ref number on the back .
