I hope someone can advise the correct way to leveling the floor in a room.
As the floor isn't level we wish to raise it slightly with plywood to give it a flat surface before laying carpet onto it.
What I want to know is as I'm planning on using stud timber to raise the floor, how much space should I place between each stud and would I have to treat the stud timber before fixing the plywood onto it?
The room is approx 18ft x 15ft
