Levelling Floors

Hi,

Many years ago, somone levelled the floor in my kitchen and when doings so, they put a metal strip across the door way to stop the compund running into the hallway.

I now want to do the same in my bathroom, so can anyone please tell me what these metal strips are called or simialr to acheive the same thing?

Could be extruded aluminium floor profile

A line of silicone or gripfill will do the same and is easily removed afterwards.

I've done just that today around the kitchen unit legs to stop the compound running under the units
