I'm sure its been asked a million times but here goes.
My lawn 40' x 40' is totally eneven as though it has sunk in areas over time. I have a plan and am after second opinions, professional advice etc as to whether it is stupid and whether there is a better way.

1] Hire a turf cutter and cut turf up and store, watering as required
2] Rotovate whole area and rake to level
3] roller area to make sure its flat
4] Re-apply turf.

I do have less area to re-turf as I will be putting a deck in at the same time so should have enough spare turf.

Mad, Stupid?? Is this likely to Work?

What are you after a putting green  .
You can lift up high areas & remove soil & also lift low arreas & fill.

Trouble is they are not small high and low spots. more like creators, 10 foot round and probably either a foot high or low at their peak compard to the lawns average.
