Hi
I have a halogen light fitting fitted in a bedroom that stopped working, I opened it up and discovered the fuse had gone, I replaced the 10A glass fuse and it now works but low & behold another light fitting has stopped working in a different bedroom. I have checked all the fuses in the main fusebox and all seems well there. Any ideas....Thanks in advance.

The power feed for lights go from one to the other (a radial circuit).
See //www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=37582 for examples.

It sounds like you have dislodged either the live or neutral in the light that you have repaired. This means there is no feed to the next light fitting.

Remove the light that you fixed and check the wiring.

PS Turn the power off first, there may be a stray live conductor floating around up there..
