light from fan live

OK, so I cannot use the smoke detector to get the live for my light bulb in the loft. ..Took that on board, but how about using the bathroom fan?
It's got a timer so must have a permanent live. Is that ok?
There are 3 wires there, black brown and grey. Which is the switched live, the live and the neutral?

Fan will probably be on a lighting circuit but will also have an isolator.

Do you really want to be in the loft when someone isolates the fan!

luckily the isolator switch is close to the loft door....thing is, I'm running out of option here....

Don't you have any ceiling roses that you can access from the loft which have live and neutral?

If not there will be junction boxes up there somewhere in the lighting circuit which will have live and neutral.
